KL Cassanello,
Lottie is such a klutz, and bad luck seems to follow her。 Russell, a doctor at the hospital, keeps rescuing her。 This is a fun story, with just a little bit of seriousness。 One thing I miss in this book is the connection to her friends in New York。 But she makes new friends in Seaswell, finding a great new life。 I love Russell's grandmother - crabby and cranky and manipulative, but all for a good cause。 Lottie and Rusty both manage to work through their past issues。 And my favorite thing about h Lottie is such a klutz, and bad luck seems to follow her。 Russell, a doctor at the hospital, keeps rescuing her。 This is a fun story, with just a little bit of seriousness。 One thing I miss in this book is the connection to her friends in New York。 But she makes new friends in Seaswell, finding a great new life。 I love Russell's grandmother - crabby and cranky and manipulative, but all for a good cause。 Lottie and Rusty both manage to work through their past issues。 And my favorite thing about him is that he sees all the good beneath her klutzy and scarred exterior。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more
Aurélie,
Lottie seems to be followed by bad luck。 It started with an accident when she was a young teenager and unfortunately followed her in adulthood。 Her clumsiness makes her the joke of every co-worker。 So, after meeting the cute doctor Russell, even though he seems genuinely interested in her, with her luck, she knows it cannot end well…I liked how Lottie handled her so-called bad luck。 No matter what, she got up and found a new way to cope。 On the other hand, Russell ran from everything: his emotio Lottie seems to be followed by bad luck。 It started with an accident when she was a young teenager and unfortunately followed her in adulthood。 Her clumsiness makes her the joke of every co-worker。 So, after meeting the cute doctor Russell, even though he seems genuinely interested in her, with her luck, she knows it cannot end well…I liked how Lottie handled her so-called bad luck。 No matter what, she got up and found a new way to cope。 On the other hand, Russell ran from everything: his emotions, family (grand-mother), environment, and friends… The two main characters have completely different coping mechanisms。 As we accompany them on their journey, we get insight in the strengths and weaknesses of both ways and how it affects them in their daily life。 Enjoy Lottie and Russell’s story and find out how they both help each other out!I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more
Lisa,
I really liked the first two books in this series。 This 3rd book was more difficult for me to read。 I had a hard time following the dialogue, and the voices for the two main characters sounded really similar, so I had a hard time realizing who was speaking to whom。 Add in a few typos, and that made it even more difficult。 The heroine has a pretty quirky personality, and the way her thoughts run reflect that。 The book is pretty emotional for the characters and almost reads like a memoir at times I really liked the first two books in this series。 This 3rd book was more difficult for me to read。 I had a hard time following the dialogue, and the voices for the two main characters sounded really similar, so I had a hard time realizing who was speaking to whom。 Add in a few typos, and that made it even more difficult。 The heroine has a pretty quirky personality, and the way her thoughts run reflect that。 The book is pretty emotional for the characters and almost reads like a memoir at times with philosophical metaphors that I have a hard time grasping。 It's sweet and clean with mild kissing。 。。。more

Overcoming Personal Issues To Fall In LoveThis is a warm, wonderful, and clean romantic comedy。 A man and a woman have to come to terms with issues in their pasts to accept the love they have found。 The characters seem like real people with good traits and flaws。 The story deals with both hockey and figure skating with a side of baking。 It is a heartwarming story that makes you want to read more。 I received this ARC book for free from Booksprout and this is my honest review。
Marie Bourgery,
Lottie was a klutz who was bullied at work。 I don't know how she put up with as long as she did as her coworkers were cruel and due to nepotism HR didn't do anything about it。 Sounds like a place that sets itself up for employee fraud which would have been blamed on overworked Lottie, so it was good that she left。 Like Lottie I don't like to see blood drawn, but it's not because of some trauma。 I'm just squeamish。 What an interesting first meeting with Dr。 Cutie McCutie, fainting in his good arm Lottie was a klutz who was bullied at work。 I don't know how she put up with as long as she did as her coworkers were cruel and due to nepotism HR didn't do anything about it。 Sounds like a place that sets itself up for employee fraud which would have been blamed on overworked Lottie, so it was good that she left。 Like Lottie I don't like to see blood drawn, but it's not because of some trauma。 I'm just squeamish。 What an interesting first meeting with Dr。 Cutie McCutie, fainting in his good arm。 Due to her issue with dogs I was surprised that Lottie's mother would ask her be a trainer even though she has experience。 Seaswell sounds like a town stuck back in time with a cranky manipulative grandmother who speaks another language。 Lottie and Rusty each have baggage which makes them second guess their developing romance。 I loved that she found joy in creative cupcakes。 I missed that there wasn't as much from Lottie NYC friends in this book。 。。。more

Unlucky, lucky, happyOur past is not the sum of who we are, it is only a small portion of our experiences。 Yet we all seem to allow our past to control our present and future。 Love can overcome our insecurities if we allow。 This is a precious story to remind us love conquers 。 Sweet, enjoyable, teachable moments。 Lovely romance。
Joan,
Doctor Russell and unlucky LottieRusty and Lottie are not a perfect couple。 But they learn to be almost perfect together。 I loved watching these two broken characters grow and uncover their woundedness and stitch themselves together as better, more healthy people。 Lottie’s story grabbed me in the first chapter。 I didn’t want to stop reading。 If you love stories that are hilarious and heartwarming you should read this book。

Delightfully endearingLottie and Russell both have a lot of trust issues which cause problems with the not-so-fake relationship they develop while trying to help Oma。 I loved his they each came to terms with their past, allowing them to progress in the present and look to the future。 Delightful story with many fun moments and some emotional ones。
